A Little Banff Poem

Banff’s magical energy and natural beauty drew me in from the beginning.

Trance-like while dancing in the club nestled in the mountains on a Sunday night,

Anguished, broken, confused after a fateful fight,

Climbing up a mountain, basking in the light,

Huddled under the blankets, longing to be out of sight,

Kissing, laughing, conversations that made my mood feel so right,

Crying, hiding, nothing seemed to go right,

Writing in a cafe, falling in love, feeling bright,

My wanderlust returned, it was time to take flight

Banff.
