  1. Jessica does it again! I like how the halo focuses the eye on the flower that seems to emote sadness. There is a kind of distortion around the flower like mirage indicating an obfuscation of truth to the meaning of the flower. The traditional meaning of a purple rose is also very meaningful in that it indicates enchantment without permanence and I find a sublime symbolism in the cover art that really introduces the story very well. Congratulations, it looks awesome πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much for the kind words about the cover. I am very happy with it, but knowing that you appreciate how she crafted it means a lot! Yes, I believe that my sister chose purple for that very traditional meaning. She’s really into hidden meanings, and the style does invoke a sense of melancholy as well. I have been editing away, and I will always be very grateful to you for reading the entire story as I posted it on this blog. πŸ™‚ You da best.

      1. Thank you, Sara, it was my pleasure reading the story. I look forward to the release because I want a copy of it and the Fascinator as well. πŸ˜€
